Hiya, My name is Charlie but close friends call me Crazy Chasbo or Chas. I am the owner of this wonderful radio station which i started on 1st January 2004. It's been a long journey but i am so proud of where the station is at and it continues to grow.

The history of Atlantic Radio Uk:

I started an online station in ealry 2000s with an online friend and it was going great but life changes and he couldn't help anymore so it closed down. I grew up listen to a radio station in the 90s on what was the best long wave radio station. The station was Atlantic 252 and it played so many good tunes that i would lend my uncles big radio played and sit at my gate blasting the music haha. I decided in 2003 that i wanted to do another online station of my own and with my favourite station being Atlantic 252.

I decided you know what i am going to name mine after it but instead of Atlantic 252 i thought of Atlantic Radio. So getting closer to launching the online station i found that there was a stration with the same name and then as the radio was located in United Kingdom. That's when i changed it to Atlantic Radio Uk. So on 1st January 2004 i launched the station with just being a nonstop station for family and friends to listen to. It continued to grow then in 2013 is when it really hit off as i was emailed by presenters asking to have there syndicate shows on my station and again it grew with more presenters asking to join the radio station.

The station has had some really great shows over years and new shows just as great. The station is contiunes to grow from what was just a online station for family and friends is now listened to all around the world from countries i didn't know they could of even would listen to my online station haha.

So even if you have listened in once or many times or still do and even if its for 5 minutes to hours. Then i would like to say a big massive thank you from me for giving my Atlantic Radio Uk a chance with your support.
