Paul Heaton returns to Liverpool for a huge night at the M&S Bank Arena, celebrating the release of his brand new album Jenius.

With a career spanning over four decades, Heaton has built a deep connection with Liverpool audiences through his work with The Housemartins, The Beautiful South, and his solo releases. Expect a packed arena singalong, mixing classic hits with new material.

New Album: Jenius

Released 21 August 2026 and produced by Ian Broudie of Liverpool’s own Lightning Seeds, the album was recorded in Manchester and features 15 new songs performed with Heaton’s band and regular live vocalist Rianne Downey.

The new single ‘Favourite Kind Of Idiot’ brings his trademark mix of wit and warmth, setting the tone for the new material you’ll hear live on the night.

A full arena show built for a Liverpool crowd, with huge singalong moments from The Beautiful South and The Housemartins alongside new songs from Jenius. Rianne Downey joins live, with special guests Lightning Seeds adding to a line-up that feels right at home in the city.
